Our 2023/2024 bursary award winner, Gracie Carels, comes from a dairy farm in Bruxelles, MB. As she pursues a degree in Business Administration at Assiniboine College and plays for the Women's Cougars Hockey Team, Gracie exemplifies dedication, passion, and a strong work ethic. Her exceptional commitment and drive made her an obvious choice for this year's award.
To celebrate their 15 years in business, Jeff and Cathy announced the establishment of the Siere Business Family Bursary through the Brandon Area Community Foundation.
The fund has been set up to award an annual bursary of at least $1000 to a second-year student of Assiniboine Community College, in any program for an individual who grew up in the family of a small business owner.
This bursary was created to recognize the contributions of families that work alongside and support the dreams of the small business entrepreneur and to give back to the community that has helped Siere become the company it is.

Cathy is planned to speak at the Southwest Business Expo again this year on February 7, 2024. Jeff and Cathy have spoken and participated in this event a number of times, and are thrilled to once again be invited back to share some of their insight into business.
The topic for this year's presentation is "Uncovered – The Hidden Traps in Your Business".
Jeff and Cathy are grateful to once again be supporting the work of the Brandon-Westman Christmas Cheer by adopting two families with a total of 8 children. Christmas is such a meaningful time of the year and it is super special to be able to share our abundance with those, who might not have the same opportunities, we have been afforded. We thank everyone involved that help make this season special for everyone.
